Dissolved in the name of freedom

Isn't it great to be freed from the yoke of communism (sic) and able to live with McDonalds around the corner and a US military base down the road? If you answer in the negative, the Czech Republic's Ministry of the Interior will have to dissolve you - in the interests of freedom, of course.

A rather melancholy politician from a neighbouring country has some interesting memories of the old days of Stalinism, some reflections on the bitter experience of neoliberal capitalism, and some advice (sometimes sound, oftentimes dubious) for the South Americans attempting to build something resembling socialism on their continent today.
