Give Hugo a break!

A campaign has started up to help Hugo Chavez win the (informal and non-binding) vote for Time magazine's Man of the Year for 2006. Currently big Hugo is running second, with 18% of the vote. Excuse me if I'm being sectarian, but isn't this a prize that any self-respecting lefty might want to avoid winning?
